As Founder and President of the Turkish Burn and Fire Disaster Society (TYAD), and the Middle East Burn and Fire Disaster Society (MEBFDS), it is my great honor and privilege to invite you to the Burn Care and Fire Disasters Meeting which will be held on 4-5 November, 2021, in Ankara, Turkey.
Burns have been a major problem for humans ever since the discovery of fire and its applications. Millions of people burn every year and are affected not only physically but also psychologically and socio-economically.
Through this meeting, we are planning scientific and educational programs that will address a variety of cutting-edge issues in the field of burn injuries and fire disasters, with specific emphasis on state-of-the-art presentations that will examine current problems in great detail.
The Meeting venue will be Patalya Resort Hotel located at the Kizilcahamam district of Ankara, Turkey. Even though we would like to welcome you to Ankara in person, we would be equally pleased to meet you online and exchange ideas through a Zoom meeting if current situation remains unchanged. We will continue to send you regular updates on the meeting and the preliminary program.
