The European Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility (ESNM) would like to invite you to the NeuroGASTRO-2015 meeting in Istanbul, Turkey on 4 - 6 June 2015.
ESNM has a proud history and counts more than 2500 members from Europe and all around the world (www.ESNM.eu).
With this event we will start a renewed series of biennial meetings of our Society. This meeting represents a unique opportunity to bring together leading experts and emerging young investigators actively involved in neurogastroenterology, digestive motility and functional gastrointestinal diseases from Europe and from all around the world to discuss cutting-edge research. There will be also emphasis on clinical topics, and practice for physicians and health care professionals with an interest in digestive disorders whose diagnosis and treatment require updated knowledge in this rapidly growing area of medicine.
The scientific committee has produced an exciting and comprehensive program.
Some of the key basic, translational and clinical topics in neurogastroenterology that will be addressed during the meeting include:
Genetic, molecular and environmental factors the role of stress, pain mechanisms, nutrient, microbiome, sensing and function, epidemiological, pathophysiological and clinical aspects of functional esophago-gastro-intestinal disorders, new technologies for the assessment of esophago-gastro-intestinal motility and perception, shortcomings and promises of current and future therapies.
Research prizes will be awarded to senior scientists for their outstanding contribution to the advancements of neurogastroenterology and motility as well as to the best abstracts presented by young investigators.
